Inn at Crystal Lake & Palmer House Pub 

Hosts Bobby Barker and Tim Ostendorf have owned the inn since July of 2001 and are extremely honored to be continuing the tradition started by Nathaniel Palmer in 1884.
Bobby’s family (originally from Boston) has been coming to The Mount Washington Valley for many years. And although Tim – originally from Connecticut – had only made a few childhood trips to New Hampshire, he, too had fond White Mountain memories. Bobby and Tim loved New Hampshire so much that in the fall of 1998, they  purchased a vacation cottage in Conway. They enjoyed many happy weekends away from Boston and quickly realized that they wanted New Hampshire to be their permanent home. In the summer of 2001, they followed their dream and made the Inn at Crystal Lake their home. They greatly enjoy sharing this lovely landmark building and their many interests with their guests.

Jewelry by Timothy Psaledakis & Friends

The path to Jewelry by Tim and Friends is over 40 years long, starting with the gift of a rock tumbler for Tim’s 9th birthday. The next step in the journey occurred in 1990, when he applied for a sales position with J.R. Dunn Jewelers in South Weymouth, MA, where I was also working full time as a Navy weather forecaster. The bench jeweler and Tim quickly became friends and remain in regular contact. Step forward to when Tim’s son was 2 years old , and the Navy wanted him to go onto an aircraft carrier for 6 years. He left the Navy to raise a family here in the Mount Washington Valley, opening first on Reporters Court as C & T Crafters in spring of 1996. With 20+ years of experience as a jeweler, today Tim says his shop boasts “some of the best tooling found in the State of New Hampshire,” along with “century-old equipment that has proved its worth for milenia.” 

Visit the Notchland Inn and relax in our comfortable 1860’s granite mansion located on a 100-acre estate in the midst of the White Mountain National Forest. Settle into one of twelve spacious, romantic guest rooms all with woodburning fireplaces or into one of two pet-friendly cottages, our newest accommodations, offering a bit more independence for couples or families. The Notchland Inn serves a wonderful five-course dinner and a bountiful country breakfast.

Tuckerman Brewing Company was founded in 1998 by owners Kirsten Neves and Nik Stanciu. Starting out brewing with a traditional approach, the operation has evolved to include some new techniques and styles while never wavering from the importance of detail and precision in well crafted brews. Unwind after a long day of exploring the area or meet up with friends and family on the weekend to listen to live music. Tuckerman Brewing has thrived with local support and actively gives back to the Mount Washington Valley. Tuckerman Brewing Co is now one of the longest-running owner-operated breweries in the state.
